Hafslo is a farming district populated around the Hafslo Lake (Hafslovatnet), beautiful and with good opportunities for fishing.

Hafslo has about 1100 inhabitants. There is a shop with a post office, a bakery, a hotel, a pizza restaurant/pub and a tavern. You will find first-rate conditions for outdoor activities and not at least sport fishing. The legendary “Hafslo-besten” is the trout that still has not been caught!

Hafslo is an excellent starting point for excursions to different activities. Less than an hour drive from Hafslo you can reach anything from shopping malls to mountain peaks, fjords and glaciers. This you can read more about on our activities page.  

Winter time in Hafslo is a dream for ski enthusiasts. Sogn Skisenter has well-prepared cross-country tracks, Norway’s longest ski lift will bring you to nice downhill slopes and opportunities for cross country skiing to the mountain peaks. There is also a ski lift for children with good conditions for the youngest ones.
